During years of experience in agro-food infrastructures, SACECA has grasped the widespread existence of horizontal reinforced concrete silos. We therefore began to think of an alternative that could replace the existing concrete structures; it emerged an Innovative concept of an industrial building for the storage of bulk raw materials, one of a kind: a horizontal silo entirely in steel, designed and prefabricated in Italy, ready for export and adaptable to different customer needs.
Steel: versatile, durable, adaptable
The use of steel allows a reduction in construction times, significantly reducing costs, guarantees greater durability of the product, protection against corrosion even in aggressive environments and flexibility in the geometries.
High performance steel sheet
We opted for the use of special ad hoc sheets, capable of supporting large thrusts and containing several tons of material, with the possibility of making them in Italy, transporting and installing them with ease.
Integrated ventilation system
The walls with internal cavity allow constant ventilation ensuring a better and healthier conservation of the cereals stored inside the horizontal silos.
